HoN Balphagore Guide HoN, Build & Strategy

Balphagore has just introduced on the HoN 3.6 Patch. He is a strength hero with melee range. His first skill allow him to do AoE damaging slow and let him eat corpse on the same time. His second skill can target a unit with a kind of disease which will silences and damages and could spreads to nearby units.





His third skill let Balphagore eat corpse and heal himself. Each corpse will add charges and can be used to spawn minions that damage and slow. Balphagore ultimate is like Shiva’s Blast which damages enemies in a wave and when enemy heroes cast spells near him it will charged up to be more powerful and slow.

Balphagore’s gluttonous love of corpses draws him to wherever the Hellbourne’s atrocities are at their worst. Armed with an array of dark powers, this daemon is not to be trifled with when hungry — and Balphagore is always hungry.

Balphagore Spells
Regurgitate
Balphagore vomits burning demonic bile on all enemies in front of him, damaging and slowing them. Some of the corpses of his previous victims are regurgitated as well, which Balphagore may choose to feast on a second time.
Level 1 : Deals 40 Magic damage per second to enemies in 100 degree cone up to 400 units away. Applies Bile to enemies for 3 seconds.
Level 2 : Deals 65 Magic damage per second to enemies in 100 degree cone up to 400 units away. Applies Bile to enemies for 3 seconds.
Level 3 : Deals 90 Magic damage per second to enemies in 100 degree cone up to 400 units away. Applies Bile to enemies for 3 seconds.
Level 4 : Deals 115 Magic damage per second to enemies in 100 degree cone up to 400 units away. Applies Bile to enemies for 3 seconds.
Mana cost 100/110/120/130
Cooldown 12 seconds
Regurgitates a total of 6 corpses over its duration

Demonic Pathogen
One of the many pathogens festering in Balphagore infects an enemy. The pathogen robs its victim of any spellcasting ability and damages them as the disease runs its course. It then spreads to any of the victim’s nearby allies.
Level 1 : Applies Contagion to target for 1 second. Upon expiration applies Contagion to enemies in 300 radius for same duration.
Level 2 : Applies Contagion to target for 2 second. Upon expiration applies Contagion to enemies in 300 radius for same duration.
Level 3 : Applies Contagion to target for 3 second. Upon expiration applies Contagion to enemies in 300 radius for same duration.
Level 4 : Applies Contagion to target for 4 second. Upon expiration applies Contagion to enemies in 300 radius for same duration.

Corpse Conversion
The decaying flesh and bones stored in Balphagore’s gut fuse into small demonic minions, which Balphagore regurgitates to do his bidding. He produces more minions if he has eaten more corpses.
Level 1 : Spawns a minion for every 3 charges . Max of 6 charges. Minions apply a stacking 1% movement speed slow for 2 seconds.
Level 2 : Spawns a minion for every 3 charges . Max of 9 charges. Minions apply a stacking 2% movement speed slow for 2 seconds.
Level 3 : Spawns a minion for every 3 charges . Max of 12 charges. Minions apply a stacking 3% movement speed slow for 2 seconds.
Level 4 : Spawns a minion for every 3 charges . Max of 16 charges. Minions apply a stacking 4% movement speed slow for 2 seconds.

Consumes corpses, adding 1 charge and healing Balphagore for 10/15/20/25

Balphagore Ultimate
Hell on Newerth
After gaining enough power from nearby enemy spell casts, Balphagore unleashes the infernal power stored inside his gut in an explosive ring of hellfire.
Level 1 : Deals 200 Magic damage to enemies within 600 radius. Gains additional effects with more charges.
Level 2 : Deals 300 Magic damage to enemies within 600 radius. Gains additional effects with more charges.
Level 3 : Deals 400 Magic damage to enemies within 600 radius. Gains additional effects with more charges.
Mana Cost 100/150/200
Cooldown 35 seconds
+40 Charges
Damage increases to 350/450/550. Applies Hell snare to each enemy hit, cooldown increases to 60 seconds.
+80 Charges
Spawns Volatile Minionism to each enemy hero hit. Volatile minions can be killed by either team. When killed,
they exploit doig 150/225/300 Magic damage to enemies in 200 radius.
Cooldown increases to 120 seconds.

Charges are gained based on mana spent by nearby enemies. After 10 seconds without a nearby enemy casting a spell, one charge is lost per second.
Hell snare
Reduces movement speed by 50% initially, recovering to full speed over 6 seconds.
